Cash Flow Management is a concept that people wanting to start a business must be intimate with. It is the “process of monitoring, analyzing, and adjusting your business’ cash flows.”

Once you have understood the whole process of cash flow management, then you have to worry about something else: having even better cash flow management.

Here are some tips to attain Better Cash Flow Management:

  1. Well, first, manage your cash flow by understanding its current status and creating a cash flow statement.
  2. Manage your working capital. Do not spend more than what you have.
  3. Manage the business risks by always planning ahead.
  4. Get funds faster by getting orders faster through email or fax.
  5. Get collectibles quickly by billing as early as possible. Make your invoices clear, detailed, and to the point.
  6. Deposit checks immediately.
  7. Sell only those who can pay. No explanation needed.
  8. Monitor your costs and inventory to determine the best deals from suppliers and the most bankable items in your inventory.

These tips, though simple, can greatly help you attain Better Cash Flow Management.
