Understanding Cash Flows
By definition, Statement of cash flow is a “financial statement that shows a company’s flow of cash”. Hence, “The money coming into the business is called cash inflow, and money going out from the business is called cash outflow.” – Wikipedia.org
For businessmen and all others concerned, understanding cash flows, albeit its complexity, plays an important role in making or breaking your company or business. It therefore is important for these people involved in business to not just understand the market and the kind of services they offer but to also learn to analyze cash flows as well.
Cash flows does not just tell you about the profit and deficit your company has incurred, more importantly they present how liquid and solvent your company is. Whether you are just starting with a business or already is an established one a good cash flow management is required.
And so if you, too are thinking of entering the business world, take a time to learn not just what you are going to venture but to understand the cash flows as well.
